Is Henna safe?
Yes, Modern Mehndi uses the highest quality of natural henna and there are not synthetic dyes added. Unless you suffer from allergies to citric juices or you have a highly sensitive skin, you have nothing to worry about. Pregnant women with anemia should not get Henna during the pregnancy.

What is Mehndi?
Mehndi is the ancient art form of henna painting. The word Mehndi refers to the paint & the art of Henna painting. Henna being the main ingredient in the "paint"

How does it work?
Mehndi is applied to the skin in a pattern or design. The Mehndi dries, and falls off leaving a stain on the skin that last from 7 days to 3 weeks.

How long does it last?
Designs last from seven days to three weeks.  Depending upon the part of the body where the design is applied and YOU take care of it.  Your palms and bottoms of your feet stain the darkest and last the longest.

Do you use black henna?
No, Henna is reddish brown naturally. In order to make it black, harmful chemicals are added. These chemicals have been linked to liver & kidney damage as well as scarring of the skin.

Do you use stencils?
No, all the designs are painted free hand. Any design is possible.

Does it hurt?
No, Mehndi is applied to the surface of the skin.
